The Ryzen 3900 model with a 65W TDP that everyone talked about on the internet days ago has been officially launched, and it is not alone. AMD announces that the Ryzen Pro 3000 series is now available, and largely includes lower power models than the ones already on the market.

We have a Ryzen 9 3900 Pro with 12 cores, at 65W TDP of course, and frequencies of just 3.1GHz as standard and 4.3GHz in boost mode. The X version works at 3.9GHz as standard and should reach 4.6GHz boost. Then comes the R7 Pro 3700, with 3.6GHz / 4.4GHz and the R5 3600 Pro, with the same features as the non-pro version. Prices have not been announced, as they are largely dedicated to system integrators for the business/enterprise sector, and have some security enhancements for them.

In addition to these models we also have R5 Pro and R3 Pro processors, with a Vega graphics component, which are also based on Zen + architecture, as well as an Athlon Pro 300GE.

Does this mean there won't be a non-Pro model of the R9 3900X processor available to the general public? It is not clear at this time. We will certainly have more information when AMD will organize the event dedicated to the Threadripper 3000 and R9 3950X processors so keep an eye out for that.
