Fortnite Chapter 2 Has Started - What's New After Season 10?

A few days ago Fortnite went offline. There was nothing, only a black hole that “ate“ the Fortnite island, but now Fortnite is back with the first season of Chapter 2.

Fortnite has proven extremely popular since its launch two years ago. One of the reasons for its popularity was the world in a continuous change, content updates and unique partnerships, from crossovers made with movie universes such as those from the Marvel or John Wick universe, to music, with a sustained concert by Marshmello right in the game and partnerships with sports industries such as the NFL and the World Cup.

The last event of the game, entitled "The End" marked the end of season 10 by creating a massive black hole at the zero point of the map that swallowed the entire island. After that, people were unable to play for quite a long time, exactly 36 hours, and all posts on social media disappeared with the game world as well.

The good news is that the game has come back online with a massive update called Fortnite Chapter 2. This update also marks the start of the 11th season, a new season pass, a new roadmap and new ways to create content in the game.

With this update, the game has received a new map, a new "water gameplay" that includes the ability to swim, fish and of course, boats. Other new features are the introduction of support mechanics, hiding places and explosive materials and an improved combat system.
