Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order - Electronic Arts is Back On Steam

Probably fearing that the new Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will not have such a great success, Electronic Arts (EA) has decided to bury the axe of war with Valve and return to Steam.

Thus, the new Star Wars game that treats a lightsaber like a rubber stick can be purchased right now on Steam. Okay, the game is not yet released, but you can at least pre-order it by using Steam.

This comeback does not come with just one game, and EA will be appearing on Steam with FIFA 20, The Sims 4, Unravel 2, Battlefield 5 and Apex Legends. Not only that, but your friends list from Origin can be imported on Steam as well. You'll still need Origin to play these titles, but at least it's a step in one direction.

We can't tell if this direction EA has taken will be a good one, since Origin really had a genuine good influence on the gaming industry but at least it sounds shocking.

Maybe Origin had its downsides, being one of the main signals that led to the separation of large companies from Steam, but without Origin, who knows how long it would have been until Valve allowed games to return to Steam.

You are probably wondering how Electronic Arts has not made such a partnership with Epic, since everyone seems to be doing this lately. We will not give you a concrete answer, but talking about the dark corners of the Internet would be that Electronic Arts received a very good share from Valve. Time will tell if this new partnership will be actually good, but for now let’s just enjoy EA games on Steam and wait and see.
