Borderlands 3 New Hotfix Makes Battles Easier And Further Enhances FL4K
The newest hotfix for Borderlands 3 is now available for download, but some of the changes it has made have left "veterans" puzzled. For starters, FL4K, which is already considered the most powerful and popular Vault Hunter in the game, received a significant buff, but it did not improve the character's weaknesses.
Instead, Gearbox made FL4K's "Rakk Attack" ability has 100% effectivness, while improving his Barbaric Yawp stats by 100%. Even if it seems like an exaggerated change, it's not quite so, and players using this character will be pleased to hear that it can become even more viable for the last missions of the game where a strong team is needed.
In addition to the changes to FL4K, Moze's Means of Destruction perk has been unlocked and now has a two-second delay to prevent players from abusing the ability of infinite grenades. As for the main opponents, Gigamind's life was shortened, as was Billy the Anointed's, while Katagawa Ball can no longer regenerate its shields. While the last two changes make sense, especially since they are two of the most difficult antagonists in the game, Gigamind's nerve seems a strange change.
The boss from the beginning of the game quickly became a good place for farming for the higher level Vault Hunters, since his life anyway was pretty easy to lower even on the first attempt. In any case, there are other minor changes that you can read in the Borderlands 3 patch notes section of the official Gearbox website and get prepare for the Bloody Harvest Halloween event.
