AMD Radeon PRO W5700 The First 7nm Professional GPU
AMD has announced the Radeon Pro W5700, the world's first professional GPU manufactured on the 7nm process. This brings new levels of performance and advanced features for 3D designers, architects and engineers, to accelerate the creative processes and product development cycles.
Among the most important functions of the Radeon Pro W5700, based on the top AMD RDNA architecture, are:
AMD RDNA Architecture - This delivers up to 25% higher per-clock performance, along with up to 41% performance-per-watt improvement over previous generations based on GCN (Graphics Core Next) architecture.
PCIe 4.0 High-Bandwidth - Radeon Pro W5700 is the first "workstation" PC graphics card that supports PCIe 4.0, providing dual bandwidth to ensure smooth performance in applications that particularly require the graphics card.
Exceptional energy efficiency - The Radeon Pro for Enterprise software combined with the AMD RDNA architecture based on the 7nm manufacturing process, offers an energy efficiency of the system 18% higher than the direct competition.
CPU / GPU accelerated multitasking - Another big improvement we see on the multitasking side, where the system delivered 5.6x better results in the SPECviewperf 13 benchmark.
The AMD Radeon Pro W5700 is available at a suggested retail price of $800. For more technical details about the GPU, you can access the manufacturer's page.
