After spending some quality time with it, I can unequivocally say that if you're looking for a force-feedback wheel to use with your PS4 (or PS3 or PC) then this is THE one to get.
Please note: a second version of the T300, called the T300 Ferrari GTE is also available. It features a replica Ferrari 458 steering wheel (compared to the T300 RS which comes with an F1-style wheel).

This review is based on my experiences with the Thrustmaster T300 RS and Gran Turismo 6.
I am happy to report that my experience is positive overall, but there are a few things you should know before buying the T300 RS. I'll start with what they got right with this steering wheel and then go into detail about their shortcomings below.
I’ve been playing with a lot of Pc gaming steering wheels and I must say that I was very impressed with the packaging. It's a neat, compact little box that would fit snugly in anyone's living room. It comes with the steering wheel, locking gas and brake pedals, pedal plates for your standard 360-style joysticks, a table clamp to keep it firmly planted on your desk or table, and all the cables you could need. It was a nice touch that while the pedals come with their own power cables, the steering wheel itself doesn't require any additional wiring to get it working.

It's also worth noting how easy it is to switch between PS3 and PS4 modes - you simply hold down the PlayStation button on your controller for three seconds while connecting the USB cable and it switches to PS4 mode. To switch back to PS3, you simply hold the PlayStation button for another 3 seconds - very cool!
At its core, the T300 RS handles like a dream. The wheel itself is incredibly substantial in construction and has rubber grips on each side which make it easy and comfortable to grip. It's also got loads of calibration options so you can tailor it to suit your taste, or indeed that of any racing game you might be playing.
One thing I particularly like is the fact that the backlit buttons are placed directly on top of their corresponding levers - no more struggling to find the right button when riding through your gearbox! The regular-sized D-Pad found on the T300 is also comfortable to use in games with lots of menus.

The only downside might be slightly flimsy pedals but even then these things still feel like they'll last long enough if used carefully (but please don’t hit them with too much pressure!).

Most games well suited to this type of steering allow you to alter levels if need be; as long as you willing to put forth some effort into getting perfect virtual tire burns on every corner then there shouldn't really be anything stopping from enjoying those powerful sensations at any level desired by gamers.

I tested it out to see how well it would work, and found some limitations on what games are available to play- Gran Turismo is one of them. When playing DriveClub though there was no problem whatsoever as soon as developer patched their game so you could enjoy using this awesome steering wheel!
The force feedback felt very strong during sharp turns or when trying to drive across different surfaces because even if an individual doesn't know much about cars in general they can feel all those little bumps coming up against your hands at unexpected moments making gameplay much more realistic than before which many people may find appealing.

The build quality is very good overall; the only downside might be slightly flimsy pedal parts but even then they still feel like they’ll last long enough if used carefully so it shouldn't be anything to worry about!
If you were to compare this product with others on the market, it'd be a tough call to see what the main difference would be. The quality on this product is very good, but you might find that others have more appealing features at a similar cost- For example there are some wheels out there with better pedals so those might be worth looking into as well...
All in all if your budget doesn't allow you to go for the higher end wheels like the G920, then I would say that this is one of your best choices.
