At least one good news has been announced for bitcoin. A unit of one of the biggest fast-food companies in the world, KFC Canada, has announced its decision to start accepting bitcoin for at least one of its products. But, that is not all.

In fact, KFC has launched a new product inspired by the digital currency: the Bitcoin Bucket. As imagined, anyone willing to buy the famous fried chicken bucket will be able to pay for it using bitcoin. Of course, KFC plans on attracting as much attention as possible with its new product, so the popular company has highly advertised the Bitcoin Bucket on social media.

The price of the Bitcoin Bucket will be associated to a constant fluctuation, as the price of bitcoin fluctuates a lot. Of course, the product's price will be the same 20 Canadian dollars, while the bitcoin price will be determined depending on the exchange rate.

The only bad news is that the Bitcoin Bucket will only be available in Canada, at least for now. KFC even apologized to the rest of the world for that. The famous company presented its Bitcoin Bucket through a post on social media.

In order to be able to accept the new payments type, KFC has entered into a partnership with BitPay. The company also revealed that in the future it may accept payments with other cryptocurrencies, as well.

The company also shared some great social media posts to promote the new product. It found a plan to discover the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of bitcoin. KFC's post said that if Satoshi makes public his true identity, "his bucket is on us."

Definitely, the company's campaign has drawn a lot of attention. Maybe it will also gradually lead to a decision from the company to accept cryptocurrency payments for all its products around the world. However, it is yet to see if things will evolve in this direction.
