The first airline to accept bitcoin and ethereum Payments: Surf Air

Surf Air Members Can Now Pay with Bitcoin or Ethereum - An unlimited global subscription costs 7.3 bitcoin

Surf Air the world's first airline, based on "all-you-can-fly" policy, announces that they add the possibility of cryptocurrency payments, according to Business Insider.

Surf Air accepts bitcoin and ethereum payments for international flights in a strategy described as "natural progress".

Surf Air Europe CEO Simon Talling-Smith states:

Surf Air was built on the idea of being disruptive and changing how people buy tickets or access the flights by plane, so it is a very logical move to be among the world’s first service providers to accept new forms of payment like bitcoin and ethereum,

Bitcoin exceeded the $ 12,000 threshold, due to the growing interest shown by investors and by the announcement of Bitcoin Futures contracts.

Surf Air is a private company that linked its flights from United States with European routes in June this year.

The company carries over 70 daily flights in California and over 30 flights to Texas and passengers will soon be able to fly from London to Zurich or Ibiza to Cannes. New routes will be inaugurated from Zurich to Munich and Luxembourg.

The operator offers four subscription options: Global Unlimited , which allows customers to travel to and from California, Texas and Europe, and offers unlimited access to all routes for one year: Unlimited Europe, Unlimited United States and Unlimited California or Texas.
